Casino Game
I need an Idea for a casino game for my statistics class?

For my AP Stats class, we are to come up with Casino Games for our classmates to play. I came up with a few ideas, but they didn’t work. The games have to be based solely on chance. No skill related things like poker. We can use anything we need like cards, dominoes, spinners and other things like that. I don’t know what to do please help!

Do you have to invent a game from scratch? Try this.

You need a deck of cards. Aces are low and count as 1. Jacks, Queens, and Kings, count for 10. All other cards count at face value.

The dealer is dealt two cards. Each player is dealt two cards.

The dealer turns over his cards and the sum is computed.

The players turn over their cards and their sums are computed.

If a player has a higher sum than the dealer, then the player wins even money. If they both have the same tally then it is a push and no one wins.

If the player has a lower count vs. the dealer, then the player can draw a third card only if his count is 5 points or lower vs. the dealers. If the dealer has a count of 20, then the player can only draw a third card if his or her count is 15 or lower. If the player’s third card produces a higher count, then the player wins even money. If the counts match then it is a push and nobody wins or loses.

You can compute how many times the players beat the dealer out right without taking a third card.

You can compute how many times the dealer shuts out the player due to a higher count that can’t be overcome with a third card.

You can compute how many times the dealer beats the player with two cards because the difference in the count is less than 5.

You can compute the number of times the dealer or player wins when a third card is drawn by the player.

You can compute the number of time both dealer and player have the same tally and push.

I hope this helps an good luck giving this game a name.

In an era when elaborate wordplay and adventurous production were the order of the day, Herb Alpert made an impact barely uttering a word or breaking a mold, other than expanding the commercial parameters for pop instrumentalists. Dashing trumpeter Alpert and his Tijuana Brass scored five top-20 hits between 1962 (when “The Lonely Bull” climbed to No. 11 in the U.S.) and 1968 (when the vocal-drive…
